How “should” a leader inspire their employees?
This is quite a subjective question and topic. However, it’s necessary for anyone moving into a leadership role to understand what comes with the role of being a leader. Thinking outside of the box so your employees recognize your efforts is one of the keys to making a difference for their experience. Compensation can help, however research shows that employees are more likely to leave an organization because of poor leadership and also because of the limited supports they receive during the day.
A WEIRD blog post….
I am sharing some powerful messages from authors, leaders, and poets, etc. Providing some inspiring ideas to those in our workforce is a simple step you can take to show your effort to connect with your employees. Maybe you can send out a “thought for the workweek” or under place a meaningful message under your e-mail signature that can move the emotional pointer in a direction an employee needs. It truly is the little things that people notice and sometimes, it’s perfectly timed when they need it.
